Smith is so confident in the rugged design and quality of our torches that we offer a Lifetime Warranty. Smith will repair or replace any Lifetime torch handle, cutting attachment, or cutting torch that needs repair resulting from normal wear and tear or from defects in material or workmanship for as long as you own the torch. It is i the longest and strongest warranty in the business.

Engineered for safety

Almost 400 fires are reported each year in the United States that can be directly attributed to oxy-fuel cutting and welding equipment. In some cases the equipment fails. In other cases operators misuse the equipment. Human injury, death, and property damage result. Smith torches are engineered to reduce fire and explosion risks and operator error. An exclusive design incorporates a flashback arrestor into the torch head. Unlike major competitors torches, Smith torches also mix fuel and oxygen right in the torch tip. That way the effects of the flashback and burnback are limited to the cutting tip, where the risks of fire and explosion are minimal. We call these two engineered safety features Dual Guard, and only Smith has them.
